Placenta encapsulations are a capsule made from your placenta which has been dehydrated and turned into a very easy to take pill form.
Placenta encapsulations can help support a better postpartum mood, provide energy and assist with milk production. I highly recommend them and see them as an insurance policy for your postpartum period.

Which process of encapsulation do you offer?
We offer the traditional method of encapsulation, which is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The process includes steaming the placenta prior to dehydration in order to kill germs or bacteria. Additionally this method is designed to help balance the placenta after childbirth.
When do you start the process?
Ideally we like to begin the process within 2 days of your birth, so that your capsules will be ready for ingestion by day 3. If that is not possible, or undesirable by you, freezing your placenta and then defrosting it prior to encapsulation is recommended. Your placenta can be frozen for up to 3 months.

How long does the process take?
The entire process will take approximately 24 hours. I will be with you for 2 hours each day for 2 consecutive days.
